Christopher Hart is the Offshore Wind Manager at the US Department of Energy.
Dr. Hart graduated from the US Naval Academy in 2000 with a degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering and was commissioned as a Special Operations Officer. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with a “V” for Valor during his last Active Duty tour for leading his teams as they disarmed roadside bombs and interdicted the flow of bomb-making materials on the front lines of Operations IRAQI and ENDURING FREEDOM.
In September 2006, Dr. Hart began his graduate studies at the University of Michigan. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering as well as a joint Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Engineering degree in the ensuing 44 months.
Dr. Hart is married to the former Robyn Lyn Weaver. They have six children. |
