Committees
Our industry, government and academic members, a variety of forward-thinking, engaged players in the wind industry, participate on intimate “think-tank” committees regarding infrastructure, technology and workforce. Our committees identify focus areas (based on need and opportunity) and, from there, members create and participate on collaborative projects. Each of our three committees has an industry chair and a university co-chair that rotate every two years. The committees’ focus is to: promote synergy between industry and academia, identify opportunities for wind industry optimization, incubate forward-thinking ideas for wind power, develop and execute collaborative wind projects, capitalizes on industry niches, and foster key wind industry relationships.
