Howard College is a comprehensive community college committed to the belief that education is the primary purpose of the institution and that the programs and services of the college should be available to all citizens who are able to benefit from them.  Howard College is committed to excellence in carrying out its purpose of education and in the efficient and effective use of its resources in meeting the educational needs of its students and the community.
 
Howard College is located on the western plains of the Permian Basin and is the home to  development of wind energy solutions to support the demands of our environment.  The course offerings to traditional and non-traditional students are geared to the development of individuals to meet the needs of our changing work environment.
 
The Industrial Production and Renewable Resource program is geared to the development of individuals to be an asset to the Wind Industry.  Our hands on labs provide true to life applications in the fields of Heavy Equipment Operations, Welding, Electrical, Hydraulics, etc.  Successful students leave their studies certified by NCCER, the National Center for Construction Education and Research.
